Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle, .33 W.C.F. caliber, Serial #140828. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 24” round barrel. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their muted blue finish with wear at the muzzle and thinning finish on the receiver. The hammer and lever assembly show muted case hardening, particularly in the protected areas. The smooth wood stocks are in very good condition with small mars and compressions consistent with carry and use. The butt stock ends with a hard rubber, Winchester marked recoil plate. The bore is fair, the action is crisp and markings are sharp on this desirable Model 1886. The lot includes a set of Redding reloading dies. Est.: $1,400-$2,800. (C+R).
