A beautiful French Second Empire Napoleonic Diplomatic Sword with 29 inch blued and fire gilt triangular blade. The hilt with raised Napoleonic Eagle. Gilt steel grip and Nopoleonic Eagle Pommel. Original elaborate double chain guard (one detached). Blade retains nearly all its bright blue and gold with much original bright polish towards tip. Hilt retains much original fire gilding.
