Non-restricted, lever action, 45-75 Win, 22" round barrel with special NWMP rear sight, SN 24063. Wood has a deep gouge on left behind receiver, numerous dents, bluing is brown, bore pitted, rifling evident. Comes with Winchester letter stating firearm shipped from warehouse May 24, 1882. Arms & Accoutrements of the Mounted Police book shows this firearm was issued to an officer.
