US Smith-Corona Model 03-A3 bolt action rifle, .30 caliber, Serial #4785934. The rifle is in good overall condition as sporterized with a 24” barrel with a banded, hooded blade front sight. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their military finish with mars and scratches consistent with field use. A period Redfield aperture sight has been added at the tang. The smooth wood custom stock is in good condition with mars and compressions from carry and use. The stock features an ebony fore end cap and ventilated rubber recoil pad. The bore is good, the action crisp and markings are sharp. The lot includes a period leather military style sling. Est.: $300-$600. (C+R).
