Schmidt-Rubin K31 straight pull rifle, 7.5 x 55 Swiss caliber, Serial #85318. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 23” barrel with a protected blade front and military tangent style rear sights. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their blue finish with all matching visible serial numbers. The smooth wood stock shows moderate to heavy use with mars, dents and compressions consistent with service use. The stock has a cartouche on the left side of the butt stock, stripes of red paint and ends with a smooth steel butt plate. The bore is fair, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp.
