Mauser Model 98 bolt action rifle, top of receiver marked 1940 and 243, 8mm caliber, nazi proofed, 24” barrel, blued finish, wood stock, sling swivels, S/N 3378; overall good used condition with good bore, crisp action, good markings, fair to good worn stock with odd stock mark on left side of butt stock appearing to be a crown over cross with the words “BAEIAEION THE EAAAAOE” circling around the crown over cross.
