Refinished Winchester Model 12 Pump Action Shotgun, #595467, 16 ga., 2-3/4'' chamber, 28'' ''nickel steel'' barrel stamped Full choke, gauge reads IM. Walnut forend with 14 grooves; walnut stock is a replacement with checkering at the pistol grip and black checkered composite Sile buttplate. Top of barrel and receiver are both Winchester proofed. ''2-3/4'''' is stamped on the barrel as well as below the receiver serial number. Mfg'd 1929. Condition is fine as refinished with approx. 98% added blue remaining; new finish was applied over some areas of pitting on the receiver and the new finish with plum-colored toning. Forend is nice for its age showing normal small handling marks. Buttstock is excellent with a few small impressions and scratches to the bottom edge. Although polished, all maker's marks are clear. Action is crisp with an excellent bright bore. Est.: $200-$400. (C&R)
