Remington Model 725 Bolt Action Rifle, with scope, #707297, .270 cal., 22'' barrel, blue finish, checkered pistol-grip walnut Monte Carlo stock, aluminum Remington buttplate, and quick-release sling swivels. Topped with a Weaver K2.5 scope with fine crosshair reticle. Mfg'd 1959. Rifle rates as good. Barrel and receiver with a small amount of scattered specks of surface rust. Overall approx. 90%-92% original blue remains; thinning to the top of the barrel accounts for a majority of the finish loss. Factory lettering is clear. Wood retains most of its finish with general shallow dings and scratches; buttplate with a small reveal along the top edge. Action is smooth with a near excellent shiny bore. Scope is very good; exterior shows moderate ring marks; optics are clear. Est.: $350-$550. (C&R)
