Winchester Field Grade Model 97 Slide-Action Shotgun, #908459, 16 ga., 28'' barrel with 2-3/4'' chamber, choked Full. 18-groove forend, pistol-grip buttstock, and Winchester buttplate all appear correct. Mfg'd 1942. Condition is very good original, with few very small handling marks to buttstock, and some blue loss to action bar and receiver extension. Action is somewhat sluggish and would benefit from a good cleaning. Function is correct, bore is bright. Est.: $400-$600. (C&R)
