Early Springfield Model 1922 Bolt Action Sporter, #431, .22 LR cal., 24.5'' barrel (SA/6-22), blue finish, pistol-grip walnut stock, mill checkered cupped buttplate, with Lyman 48 rear and standard front sight. Includes one early M1922 GP rifle magazine. These rifles are considered quite scarce with approx. 2020 mfg'd. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 97% blue with most of the losses to the front sight band and highpoints of buttplate. Stock is excellent with one miniscule chip just behind the upper tang.
