Deluxe Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle, #187081, .38-55 cal., 26'' octagonal barrel, blue finish, factory checkered pistol-grip walnut stock, with hard rubber buttplate and pistol grip cap; standard front and rear sights. Mfg'd 1900. Condition is fine. Barrel and mag tube retain approx. 90%-92% original blue with one small area of thinning hallway down the left side barrel flat. Frame with 80% original blue with almost all the losses relegated to the forward third, left side of frame. Case colored lever and hammer with about 75% color; niter-blue loading gate with very minor thinning at forward third. Standard grade walnut stocks with very light general impressions; forend with some oil darkening near rear portion. Action is crisp, bore is bright. Est.: $1,800-$2,400. (C&R)
