Smith & Wesson Model 68-2 Los Angeles Police Department Commemorative revolver, .38 Special caliber, Serial #AES0000. The pistol is in very good to nearly fine overall condition with a 6” barrel with a red ramp front and adjustable rear sights. The pistol retains nearly all of its polished stainless steel finish with light holster wear at the muzzle and small scratches. The right side of the barrel is marked, “LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT”. The checkered wood medallion grips are in very good condition with sharp checkering. The bore is good, the action crisp and markings are sharp. The lot includes the original blue cardboard factory box and associated packaging materials. Est.: $400-$800. (Modern/PPT).
