Lot 255b 18PR-2 DISPLAY POLISH KNIFE

High quality 19th century European exhibition or display knife with fancy relief carved grip. Grip reads “Ottothylin” and blade stamped “Sors Kosk” with number 189 on ricasso. Measures 24 ¾” overall with a 14 ½” blade showing quality grind and clipped point. The blade is good to very good with minor nicks on edge. Slight beginning erosion but most of original polish. The grip is two handed and oversized with quality carving. Most likely Northern European or Scandinavia. Formerly Robert Berryman and Norm Flayderman collections. Est.: $1500-$3000
