Lot 170 18MP-1 BLUNDERBUSS

All brass flintlock blunderbuss pistol by W. Bond of 59 Lombards st, London circa about 1800-1820. Under mounted spring bayonet released by trigger guard. Working but not snapping and locking. Original side mounted ramrod retained with horn tip. Measures 11” overall with a 6” cannon style barrel flared to 1” at the muzzle. Very good plus condition with unpolished patina, sharp engraving and very good grip. The action is working but main spring is weak and correct top jaw and small parts. A very nice example.
