'3nd Model' Antique top-break double-action-only concealed hammer revolver chambered in .38 Smith & Wesson, manufactured circa 1890-1898. Features a black painted finish, ribbed 3 1/4" barrel, pinned round blade front sight, fixed 'u' notched rear sight, fluted five-shot cylinder with automatic extractor, backstrap grip safety, smooth case hardened trigger, concealed hammer, round butt frame and two-piece diamond checkered brown hard rubber grips with S&W monograms. Revolver retains approximately 70% of it's black painted finish with balance of the metal surfaces bearing a grey/brown patina. Action is crisp with tight lock-up, the bore is excellent, markings are good and the matching hard rubber grips are very good with worn points. Condition is NRA Good. ***Antique Firearm***
