^Lot 114 Enfield Charge Loading Lee-Enfield Mark 1*

SN: 3671W British military magazine fed bolt action service rifle chambered in .303 British. Manufactured circa 1900. Features a blued finish, 30.2" barrel, ramped blade front sight with protective ears, fully adjustable rear sight graduated to 1800 yards, volley sights, metal forend cap with bayonet lug, serrated trigger, detachable magazine with cut off on the right side of the receiver, manual safety on the bolt, charge loading bridge on the receiver, brown leather sling, smooth wood hand guard & forend, straight grip shoulder stock and brass trapdoor buttplate with long tang and oiler. The right side of the butt socket is marked '[crown]/V.R./Enfield/1900' and 'LE/I*'. The left side of the butt socket is marked 'Enfield/1907' and 'CL.LE/I*'. Barrel is stamped 'E' over the chamber. The stock is marked '2/1909' with a 1908 Enfield circular cartouche/1*' and the brass buttplate is marked 'V/7.LL/7'. Serial numbers match on the receiver, barrel and rear sight. The majority of the metal surfaces bear an aged patina with less than 10% bluing intact. Action is smooth, the bore is excellent and the wood stocks are good showing blemishes throughout.
