Brno Model 1898 Persian Mauser bolt action rifle, 8 x 57mm caliber, 23” barrel, blued finish, wood stock, no import marks, S/N 1604, all matching visible numbers, overall very good to near fine condition with verygood to fine bore, crisp action, sharp markings and very good wood; according to consignor, Guatemala ordered only 4,000 rifles in 1937 and most were “ridden hard and put up wet”.
