L.C. Smith Ideal grade side by side shotgun, 12 gauge, Serial #65805. The shotgun is in very good to nearly fine overall condition with 28” barrels with a full-length filed rib and brass bead front sight. The barrelsretain the majority of their muted blue finish with wear at the muzzle and small mars consistent with field use. The receiver is beautifully relief engraved with toning case hardening still visible, double triggers anda tang mounted safety. The checkered wood stock is in good condition with a splinter fore end, swept back pistol grip and mars from carry and use. The butt stock ends with a plastic butt plate providing a 14” LOP tothe front trigger. The bores are good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this desirable L.C. Smith.
