Colt Model 1855 Root Revolver .31 caliber with a 4 ½” barrel and fluted cylinder, S/N 6071. 5A variation. This root retains 50%-70% original blue with minor erosion and pinprick pitting just starting. The gripshave 2 major chips and losses 2 minor with balance of grips showing most original varnish.
