Lot 110 Winchester 1894 .30-30 SN: 25119
Early lever action repeating rifle chambered in .30-30 Winchester, circa 1895(second year production). Features a blued finish, 26" barrel, full length tube magazine, dovetailed blade front sight, adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur, grip safety, smooth walnut forend and straight grip shoulder stock with crescent metal buttplate. The barrel & magazine tube exhibit a nice smooth grey patina with less than 10% of it's original finish retained in the protected areas. The receiver shows a browning patina with some light scattered pin prick pitting observed towards the bottom. The action is sound, the bore shows a dark ring a few inches from the muzzle but otherwise is in good condition, the markings are good and the refinished wood stocks are fair with some small losses & repairs.
