^Lot 5 *Colt Custom Shop Single Action Army .44-40

SN: SA73551 'Third Generation' Single action six-shot revolver chambered in .44-40 Winchester, circa 1988. This custom edition revolver was part of a very limited run consisting of about 199 guns, only 40 of which had 4 3/4" barrels, other barrel lengths include 5 1/2" and 6". Features a high polish blued & case hardened finish, 4 3/4" barrel with single line address, ejector rod with bullseye ring ejector, non-fluted cylinder, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur, blackpowder frame with corresponding patent dates and two-piece checkered walnut grips with gold Colt 150th anniversary medallions. Pistol exhibits approximately 99%+ of it's original finish showing a faint partial drag line on the cylinder. Action is crisp with very-good lock-up, bore is pristine and the wood grips are fine. Likely unfired since the factory. Condition is near NRA Perfect. ***Modern Firearm***
