'Truppe Special' WWII era Italian military bolt action service rifle chambered in 6.5x52mm, manufactured by Beretta circa 1940. Features a blued finish, 18" barrel, dovetailed blade front sight, notched rear sight, 1891 pattern bayonet lug, turned down bolt, manual safety on the bolt, 6-shot Mannlicher clip loading magazine, lightly serrated trigger, sling swivels, smooth wood handguard and straight grip shoulder stock with metal buttplate, Beretta cartouche & matching serial number. The receiver retains approximately 50% of it's blued finish with the balance of the metal surfaces on the rifle turned to a brown patina. Action performs well, bore is bright with good rifling & a large dark ring towards the muzzle, and wood stock is good to very good with a small chip & crack extending the the back of the receiver amongst other small scattered blemishes.
