Lot 539a Colt New Police .32 Cal SN: 18144

Vintage small frame double-action revolver chambered for .32 caliber ammunition, circa 1904. Features a blued finish with fire blued small parts, 6" barrel, round blade front sight, square channel cut rear sight, non-shrouded ejector rod, fluted six-shot cylinder, smooth trigger, checkered hammer spur, "COLT'S NEW POLICE" marked frame, and two-piece checkered black hard rubber grips with 'COLT' motif. Revolver retains approximately 30% of it's original blued finish showing heavy holster wear, a small amount scattered dark rust on the right side of the barrel and some thinning on the frame, triggerguard & backstrap that has turned to a brown patina. Action is crisp with solid lock-up, bore is pristine, and hard rubber grips are fair with chips at the heel on both grip panels. Condition is near good. ***C&R Firearm*** ****Modern Firearm***
