Russian military semi-automatic service rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, and produced at the Tula Arsenal circa 1956. Imported by C.D.I. of Swan VT with import marks on the receiver. Features a blued finish, 20 3/8" barrel, hooded post front sight, tangent rear sight graduated to 1,000 meters, cleaning rod, blued blade style bayonet, 10 round fixed magazine, manual safety, smooth trigger, green canvas sling, smooth wood handguard, smooth laminated wood pistol grip shoulder stock and trapdoor metal buttplate with cleaning kit. Serial numbers match on the receiver, bolt carrier, magazine, trigger guard, top cover, gas tube(scratched) and stock. Rifle exhibits approximately 97% of it's blued finish showing scattered light wear & handling marks. Action is smooth, bore is pristine and wood stocks are fine with few blemishes.
