'Pre-Model 10' Vintage medium frame double-action revolver chambered in .38 Special, circa 1948-1967. Features a blued finish, pinned 4" barrel with forged round blade front sight, square notched rear sight, non-shrouded ejector rod, fluted six-shot cylinder, case hardened .265" serrated trigger, case hardened hammer with .265" checkered spur and two-piece diamond checkered walnut Magna grips with silver S& W medallions. Revolver exhibits approximately 92% of its original blued finish showing light muzzle & edge wear, a faint drag line on the cylinder as well as some small areas of wear adjacent to the stops and light scattered oxidation/emerging rust. Action is smooth with tight lock-up, bore is excellent and matching wood grips are very good.
Condition is very good++.
