Colt 1851 Navy revolver 4th model capping groove, S/N 136783. This revolver remains in very good plus condition with 20%-40% original blue and case colors mixing with a natural uncleaned patina. The barrel showsperiod added V notch rear sight dovetailed into breach of the barrel and a blade and post front sight. These are very professional and high quality original to mid-19th century western gunsmith made sights in ouropinion. Good markings with crisp edges. Minor scratches and some very minor pinprick pitting. 20%-40% light cylinder scene remaining. The grips are good to very good with some oil staining and from tapping(probably horseshoe nails) on the butt and strap. Matching visible serial numbers. Tight action and crisp overall.
