Impressive and ornate rapier with 17h and 19th century associated elements. The rapier show a 39” wide blade and is 46” overall. The blade is genuine and shows wear and pitting. The guard shows Roman figures in relief andis fine work. The quilons are cast in figures or mermaid and cleverly added to original guard. Wire wrapped grip and decorated pommel. Very Attractive!
