Colt First Generation SAA revolver, .357 Magnum caliber, 5.5” barrel, factory nickel finish, checkered black hard rubber grips, S/N 356811, in overall excellent condition showing the majority of its original factoryfinish, crisp action, sharp markings, excellent bore and grips; accompanied by a brown covered cardboard box with cleaning brush, shooting suggestions and copy of an old R.L. Wilson letter that comments onpoints about the gun including it being one of the last of the Colt Prewar Single Action Army revolvers and the opinion that the end label was likely attached by error as it documents the finish, caliber and grips butincorrectly notes 4 ¾ “ barrel.
