SN: 547 '2nd Variant' Antique double action five-shot revolver chambered for .38 caliber black powder cartridge, circa 1888-1897. Features a nickel plated finish, 2.5" octagonal barrel, blade front sight, grooved rear sight, fluted cylinder, smooth trigger, checkered hammer spur and ornate two- piece checkered black hard rubber grips. Revolver exhibits approximately 80% of it's nickel plated finish showing flaking on the triggerguard and numerous handling marks overall. Action is frozen as the hammer is locked back & the trigger locked forward, bore shows rust and hard rubber grips are fine. Condition is good. ***Antique Firearm***
