Modern production plains style percussion rifle chambered for .45 caliber ammunition. Features a blued finish, 32" octagonal barrel, dovetailed brass blade front sight, rear sporting sight(missing ramp), smooth wide trigger shoe, wood ram rod, brass furniture and smooth one-piece straight grip shoulder stock with pewter forend cap. Rifle exhibits approximately 80% of it's original finish showing little wear and scattered light surface rust. Action functions well, bore has strong rifling but also shows rust and wood stock is good+ with several small blemishes. Condition is good. ***Antique Firearm***
