Rock Island Arsenal U.S. Model 1903 bolt action rifle, .30 caliber, serial #379037. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 24” barrel with a blade front and military ladder style rear sights. The barrel andreceiver retain the majority of their military finish with significant residual packing grease evident. The Rock Island marked barrel is dated 12-18 with the flaming bomb emblem. The smooth wood stock is darkshowing storage marks, dents, compressions and significant old grease. The stock includes sling swivels and ends with a checkered steel butt plate with trap. The bore is fair and may clean, the action iscrisp and markings are sharp. (C+R) Est.: $250-$500
