Dumonthier style French percussion double barrel pistol showing ornately etched blade with rose pattern Damascus on blade and pistol barrels. The only known specimen decorated in this fashion. Also ornatelycarved and checkered deluxe wood stocks and retaining original scabbard. The pistol measures 13 ¾” overall with a 9 ½” blade. The barrels measure 3 3/8” and approximately .36 caliber rifled. The pistol is near fine with excellent blade. The scabbard is good to very good with opening to the seam on one side.
