Colt Model 1862 Police revolver with a 5 ½” barrel in .36 caliber percussion, S/N 35540. 20%-30% original blue and case drifting to patina along with minor pitting and erosion. The loading lever is broken and the catch ismissing. The bottom of the frame shows three impact marks from shot probably in battle or gun fight. The grips show 30%-50% varnish and very good overall.
