Harper’s Ferry percussion conversion rifle, .69 caliber, 35.5” barrel, wood stock with old repairs around the top of the wrist area, in overall fair to good condition displaying a grey patina to metal surfaces, good action and markings, fair to good wood showing an old repair to a break at the wrist area; old partial loss of rear barrel band retainer; conversion style of percussion nipple threaded into the top of the barrel at breech sometimes referred to as a “Southern conversion”; lockplate dated 1839.
