Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle, .45-70 caliber, 26” octagon barrel, old re-finish of blue to barrel assembly and nickel to receiver and butt plate, wood stocks, S/N 71920, in overall good conditionas re-finished, some wear spots on front of barrel, crisp action, fair to good bore, forend shows some pommel wear near frame, butt stock overall good. Factory letter copy included confirming caliber, octagon barrel, plain trigger and indicating received in warehouse on November 21, 1892 and shipped on Dec. 1, 1892 with 219 other arms to order #10843.
