Peabody musket for foreign military contract, 32.5” round barrel, blued finish, wood stocks, iron cleaning rod, S/N 14241, in overall good to very good condition displaying considerable blued finish, crispaction and markings, bore may clean to good, overall good wood stocks with a small old chip to the right front of the butt stock’s wrist below the hammer area and some scattered old mars and scratches from carryand storage; two proofs visible; one on right side of butt stock (cross over “M”) and one behind the rear barrel band on the right side (cross over “V”).
