Northern European or Scandinavian flintlock military style pistol from mid-18th century showing small proofs on the breech and side plate which appear to be an F or T with crown at breech and large “M” small “s” on sideplate. Also the tail of an “S” marking at the breech. Measures 15” overall with a 8” heavy octagon barrel of .75 plus caliber smoothbore. Shows an old reduction to length with band added. Just the type that couldhave come to America during the Revolutionary war. (Antique) Est.: $1000-$2000
