U.S. Trapdoor Springfield rifle, .45-70 caliber, 29.5” barrel, blued finish, wood stock, iron ramrod, S/N 254431, in overall good to very good un-cleaned condition showing a very good bore, crisp action, verygood markings and overall good wood with an old “W.J.C.” carved into the rear area of the butt stock; also two visible inspector’s cartouches on the left side of the stock above the trigger; this rifle is in“out-of-the-attic” condition, the way collectors like to find them!
