Annelise Bekker of Afton Guest House has generously donated a Firearm Import Service for one person along with a meet and greet for a couple or two hunters at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. For the Meet and Greet service you will be met in the Arrival Hall after you have cleared immigration and customs. The “Rifle Permit” allows for pre-approval of your firearms ahead of arriving in South Africa, and is recommended for anyone traveling during hunting season. This pre-approval allows for a shorter transfer time to your ongoing flight if needed and provides peace of mind traveling with firearms. This donation is good for either 2017 or 2018.

Afton Guest House which has been in business for over 20 years is used by a lot of hunters that are overnighting in Johannesburg before their onward flights the next day. Round trip airport transfers, as they are only 7 minutes from the airport, and a full English breakfast is included for those using the guest house. They also offer a reasonably priced VIP meet and greet service for going through Immigration and Customs, which is helpful if this trip is your first time on a safari.
