Heavy barrel percussion plains rifle signed “J.F.” on the barrel with back action lock. Measures 54 ½” overall with a 39 ½” barrel of .44 caliber rifled and measures 1 1/8” across the flats of the barrel. This rifleshows brass mounts, patch box, and double set trigger and no ramrod. As found in “Out of the attic” condition. Good to very good with minor stress cracks to the wood and normal aging. (Antique) Est.: $400-$800
