WWII Model FP-45 ''Liberator'' Single Shot Pistol, unserialized, .45 ACP smoothbore, 4'' barrel, die-stamped metal construction. These inexpensive mass-produced weapons were mfg'd for the European and Pacific underground and were dropped from aircraft into occupied territories to arm and assist the resistance. Includes copy of August 2012 ''American Rifleman'' magazine, with article on the history of the Liberator pistol. Condition is good showing wear and handling. Metal shows light to just moderate age patina. Floorplate is present. Est.: $1,200-$1,800. (C&R/PPT)
