^Lot 666 Norwegian Krag-Jorgensen M.1912 Bolt Action Rifle

Norwegian Krag-Jorgensen Model 1912 Bolt Action Rifle, #9881, 6.5x55 Mauser cal., 24'' barrel, blue finish, Full-length uncheckered walnut stock, Chamber dated 1916. (Historical note: This serial number indicates this rifle was located in Evjemoen, IR8 [Infantry Reg't 8], in 1940. Evjemeon was bombed April 11, 1940.) Condition is very good with all visible matching numbers. Rifle retains approx. 90% original blue finish with most of the losses to the triggerguard and buttplate. Stock is in excellent condition as lightly sanded and refinished. Action is tight, bore is good with light frosting in the grooves. Est.: $600-$800. (C&R)
