English Pepperbox, by unknown Birmingham maker, .36 cal., 3.5'' barrel, case hardened finish, smooth walnut grips, with Birmingham proofs on each barrel. Condition is fine with approx. 40% case color remaining to all metal parts, with light surface oxidation overall, heavier on the grip straps. Pistol is lightly scroll engraved on the frame, triggerguard and backstrap; barrels are lightly engraved near the muzzles. Grips are excellent with just a few light dents, no cracks or losses, retaining approx. 90% original varnish. Action functions well and is tight, bores are fine. Est.: $600-$800. (Antique)
