Antique Side-by-Side Halfstock Percussion Shotgun, by W. Richards, approx. 12 ga., 32'' browned twist barrels with 1/2'' concave rib marked ''W. Richards, London Fine Twist'' with silver front bead; barrels have a single Birmingham black powder proof; lockplates and hammers are scroll engraved with double triggers; checkered walnut stock with steel buttplate and brass-tipped ramrod. Condition is fair, for decorative or display purposes only. Barrels are corroded and are coming apart from rust at the breeches; top tang show crack, and checkered stock has worn smooth with numerous marks, impressions and fissures. Est.: $200-$350. (Antique)
