^Lot 375 Colt Official Police Double Action Revolver

Colt Official Police Double Action Revolver, #40745, .22 LR cal., 6'' barrel, blue finish, factory checkered walnut grips, marked ''Official Police'' on barrel, with Rampant Colt logo on right side of frame, fixed sights with aftermarket red ramp insert in front. Mfg'd 1956. Condition is fine retaining approx. 99% of its original blue finish with little evidence of use, and only slight micro-scratching to the smooth rear grip strap and right side of frame. Grips show slight flattening to the checkers, and right grip panel has a pin hole where it appears to have had some sort of adornment attached at some time. Action is tight and bore is bright.
