Browning Grade II .22 Semi-Automatic Takedown Rifle, #01206PZ246, .22 LR cal., 19'' blue finish barrel with folding rear sight and front beaded blade sight, also drilled and tapped for barrel mounted scope base. Receiver has a French gray finish with foliate scroll engraving, highlighting small game scene cameos on the sides, with duck in flight on the top. Trigger is gold plated and triggerguard has a push-button safety. Checkered pistol-grip stock and forend are highly figured walnut with a gloss finish and 13-3/4'' length of pull to a grooved metal buttplate. Mfg. ca. 1981 by Miroku. Overall condition is very good with signs of moderate use. Bore has residual fouling and oxidation; bolt and receiver have a layer of fine oxidation and light pitting. Stock and forend finishes have scattered small dings and scratches with a few scuffs in the checkering. Est.: $750-$1,000. (Modern)
