U.S. Model 1866 Allin Conversion Trapdoor Rifle, NVSN, .50-70 cal., 36'' bright barrel, case hardened lock, cartouched walnut stock with three steel bands. Ramrod is present, along with bayonet (no scabbard). Condition is very good to near fine with light to moderate carbon spotting to bright surfaces. Nicely cartouched stock with scuffs, scratches, and small fissure emanating from apex of lockplate. Bore is mirror bright. Est.: $700-$1,000. (Antique)
