Lot 1181 Spencer Model 1865 carbine in .50 caliber with
20” barrel, S/N 18943. Interesting “W.D.” with broadhead mark in the stock possibly for Canada or English trials. 60%-80% original blue on the barrel with minor toning and aging along with slight erosion. 30%-50% light case hardening drifting to a silvery-brown. The stock is well marked 1 over 7 with “W.D.” and broadhead. The stock is very good with minor marks and aging. Good address, bright bore, and fiery case hardening on the interior of the action.
