Lot 699 Canvas Painted Buffalo Bill Sign
Hung in the center of town in Cody, Wyoming. "Welcome to Buffalo Bill's Hometown, Cody, Wyoming", as purposed by the consignor, measures 52 1/2"x33", weighted at bottom with sand and eyelets at top, in all original condition. 6 originally made, 3 remaining, 1 in Cody Museum. A rare piece of Western history. Circa 1913.
