Check No. 9096, dated on the back, Dec. 16, 1889. Issued to Bourke and O'Connor for building weaponry (arsenal) for use by the standing Military or Militia in the Territory of Montana. This particular vintage warrant for Helena, Montana, County of Lewis & Clarke, for $150.00 never made it to the State Treasurer for signature. This very unique collectible of early Montana and American history is in Excellent condition behind a two sided glass frame, matted and framed. Measures 7"x12" overall.
